Rainy season–early summer
Two days with books, especially when it rains.
In quiet Yoita, 1,500 books and a big-screen theater. Gaze at the green garden and enjoy a do-nothing stay. Weekdays in the off-peak season are the most relaxed time of the year.

Yoita-Ko 170, Yoita-machi, Nagaoka, Niigata 940-2402. It is about 20 minutes by car to the Teradomari sea and fish market, and about 30 minutes to Yahiko Shrine and the Nagaoka Fireworks venue.
How many groups stay per day?
Just one group per day, the whole house to yourselves. You never share the space with other guests.
Can we cook or eat there?
Yes. There is a full kitchen for cooking and a garden BBQ. Many guests buy seafood in Teradomari and cook it at the house. A dinner option (by advance reservation) is also available.
Is it OK to bring children?
Yes. Because you have the whole house, families with children can relax freely. Co-sleeping for children of elementary age or younger is ¥1,100 per child.
Is it better to book direct or via an OTA?
Booking direct includes a free light breakfast set (local bread, Sado jam and coffee), a consecutive-night discount, a 'Machi to Hon' local coupon (¥300/person), a welcome drink, and free BBQ grill rental, plus flexible service such as adjusting guest numbers.
